This is why half of the staff have intermittent FMLA: they’re tired of not having a life outside of work. Forget about getting a weekend day off, such as if a family member tells you they’re coming to visit on short notice (you have to plan it 6-12 months in advance at least). The vacation calendar is always booked up. You have to fight to get days off (I almost missed being the maid of honor for my best friend’s wedding and had to beg 3 different managers for 3 months just to get 2 days off!). They have no qualms about taking your days off away, with a week’s notice or less, and schedule you on holidays (even when you have had a vacation booked for a year). They are ALWAYS understaffed, no matter how many people they seem to hire. I liked a lot of my coworkers and the money was amazing (as a dealer) but the company doesn’t care about employees or their quality of life.
Keep in mind that every department is different, with different managers but my experience here was awful.
